I am an IT professional with more than 30 years experience in software development, research, and management. Over time a few smaller and bigger achievements have accumulated, most notably the development and deployment of the German COVID certificate infrastructure (CovPass), serving more than 300 million cryptographic certificates, accepted in all European and some more countries, to German citizens. Even though my journey started mostly with Java and C++, I am mostly language and system agnostic. While working on the Calliope mini I did hardware design and embedded development.
